That's just asuming they were planning to adapt every Touhou game. The openings showed up to Touhou 11, which was the latest Touhou game when this anime started, so I guess they were planning to have Touhou 6 to 11 adapted and end there.

I mean, considering that 7 main games were released during the time it took them to adapt 5, it's only logical they'd want to put a stop at some point (Though I would really like to see Touhou 15 being made into anime)
